About Us
Dr Foot Podiatry consists of a group of dedicated podiatrists, all of whom are highly trained in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide variety of foot and lower limb conditions. Each podiatrist at Dr Foot Podiatry is selected based on their knowledge, skill, experience, and commitment to providing an excellent service.
Our senior podiatrist is Mr Hussain a consultant fellow qualified with a BSc (hons) in Podiatric Medicine in 1995 from the University of Westminster London has over 28 years of experience in the foot care sector and with many continual professional development accreditations including PGc in Podiatric Sports Medicine & MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine both from Queen Mary’s University London. Abid is currently undertaking a PHD at Loughborough University at the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences and is a member of the British Association of Sport, Exercise Medicine, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists UK. Abid provides the necessary expertise to ensure we provide an excellent level of care to our patients.
Abid is also the founder and CEO of DrFoot.co.uk which for the past 20 years is the UK's leading podiatry website with over 1 million unique visitors per month. Abid is an internationally acclaimed inventor who has been responsible for inventing a range of Dr Foot orthotics and patented an adjustable Dr Foot orthotic sandal. Other products which he has developed from idea to the shelf include Dr Foot cream, Dr Foot shoe spray and Dr Foot shoes. Abid has also founded the Dr Foot Foundation which has provided over 10,000 pairs of shoes to third world countries and supported the construction of deep water wells in african villages. He has also co-founded the International Podiatric Medical Association which is a charitable organization which has been established by four UK podiatrists with a commitment to reducing foot amputations due to diabetic foot complications in third world countries.

At Dr Foot Podiatry our treatment is always patient centred. Treatment and assessment at Dr Foot Podiatry is carried out by podiatrists who are enthusiastic and who enjoy their work. Our podiatrists are passionate about improving the quality of life of individuals through podiatric intervention.
Our podiatrists can provide one off assessment and treatment, or regular treatment sessions depending on individual and clinical need. Podiatric assessment and treatment is provided in our modern and clean, private treatment rooms, or if you prefer, in the comfort of your own home.
We provide treatment and advice on a variety of foot and lower limb concerns, such as medical conditions that have an impact on the health and function of the foot, many of which can affect mobility and quality of life.Dr Foot Podiatry also assess and treat routine complaints, such as verruca and fungal nail, to pain and structural problems requiring biomechanical assessment and gait analysis.

WALK from the Bullring, by St Martins Church, straight down Digbeth High St for 4 minutes, turn left into Gibb Street and you will see the Custard Factory welcome sign.

There are three pay and display car parks in close proximity to the Custard Factory: Trinity Street car park on Heath Mill Lane, Zellig car park on Digbeth High Street and the North Yard car park on Gibb Street. We recommend trinity street car park on Heath Mill Lane, parking charges are £1 per hour (most treatments take less than a hour) which is refundable after treatment. It has a distinctive entrance! Leave the car park from the main entrance and turn left and walk across the road onto Gibb Street.
TRAIN as both Birmingham Moor Street Station and Birmingham New Street Rail Station are within walking distance.
COACH as Digbeth Coach Station is few minutes walk from Custard Factory location

Once your appointment has been confirmed please make your way to the reception area (blue building with yellow window decal that reads "Digbeth") and inform the receptionist that you have an appointment with Dr Foot, Studio 404, Greenhouse. One of our podiatrists will come to meet and greet you and take you to our clinic.
